Osteopathy Services

Osteopathy is a complex science and manual therapy that aims at discovering the root causes of client’s illnesses and pathologies, treating the patients globally, considering their whole life history and not just treating their symptoms.

Each therapy session is unique and adapted to the clients' present symptoms and concerns.

Osteopaths have an in depth knowledge of the human body’s anatomy, physiology and biomechanics to help them detect body restrictions preventing peoples ability to restore their own equilibrium via self-healing.

An osteopath understands the extremely important body tissues interrelation, whether muscular, fascial, ligamentous, articular, visceral or nervous, and applies osteopathy with a main objective towards the prevention of all dysfunctions and reduction of compensatory reoccurrences.

Everyone can benefit from osteopath therapy. From babies, children, adults, athletes, the pregnant women or the elderly, where the therapy is adapted to your needs, respecting each person (in their entirety) to bring them relief and body movement.

Osteopathy Therapy

Course of a session

A session commences with a detailed questionnaire intended to discover all aliments and history of the client, such as, surgeries, traumatisms, medical history and pathologies.

Subsequently, tests are performed to notice any imbalances and limitations. It is with the results of the above that the osteopath can begin therapy with manual techniques including articular pumping, fascia, cranial or visceral therapy (just to name a few).

Finally, clients leave with recommended myofacial, osteo-articular stretches or proprioceptive exercises in order to maintain the continuity of the therapy.
